Unbeknowst to me, until a client mentioned it, this necklace is called a "Fetish necklace."  It is made up of carved animal gemstones spaced about every two inches.  The animals are considered "spirit totems" and this kind of design can be traced to the Native Americans and their respect for all of God's creatures.  I made this long enough so you can wear it long of course, but you can also double it as a choker.  Every necklace is a little bit different, so you may not get exactly what is in the picture, but my promise is that it will be unique!  
It is pictured with a deer antler I found when hiking (they shed them naturally!)...(the deer is my spirit animal. what's yours?)
